The problem is that we all underestimates his capabilities but when he plays for Holland he is totally a different player therefore it has to do with our team dynamics that he is not performing as well for us.

Bowen is basically as close matched and attainable replacement for our type of goalscoring and creative wide forward as you will get in the PL.
The gold standard currently is obviously Saka but that’s a non-starter.

It happens sometimes…
We already saw a better version of Gakpo than this season’s version. And even the former one, yes, there are some questions whether his peak is good enough to regularly fight for and win the biggest prizes.
I believe all parties are well aware that he’s gonna have to perform better again to both get a better player for Liverpool and make him an asset on the market again.
