The handling of the transfer window up till now is borderline disastrous.
20m and above should be fineā¦
Not sure if it is. I think there is a lot of labelling of squad players as kids but Leoni in my view is ready. Yes you donāt want to overplay these lads but itās short by two players in my view.
If we go into rest of the season with the attacking options its a totally disgraceful for a team expected to challenge for honours. Isak on his own isnāt enough and Rodgers would be a bit underwhelming.
I believe we still need to strengthen our attacking options. I would not be mad if we added another in the middle. defence is ok with leoni and potentially Marc coming in.
If you arenāt happy with Isak and Rogers in addition to what we already have, then you are spoilt, entitled, and have no understanding of the club or the game.
I suspect he is a troll, just posting shit for attention.
A big if there though to be fair.
Well, I donāt think weāll get Rogers, but he himself said that Isak and Rogers wouldnāt be enough.
Salah, Ekitike, Isak, Gakpo, Rogers, Wirtz, Ngumoah, Chiesa would beā¦underwhelming ![]()

This has been a fantastic window so far and I find it quite difficult to label it as anything but⦠almost no matter what happens in the last day and a half.
We almost (that is what we are now trying to do) rebuilt our squad in one window. One window with 4 new starters. Perhaps some people feel like we should have made a more gradual change⦠but that is a question of strategy. We have fit almost 2 or 3 seasonās work intro one window.
And we got Wirtz (I know the excitement has died down), the previously thought to be unattainable best player on the market.
At the same time we really moved on a number of players at good prices.
Now Iād like Guehi, but to be honest I think the work is more on Slot to get the guys integrated and firing than to have Hughes buy another which will determine if we lift another trophy this year.
Stop making shit up.
What part am I making up?
Take Isak or Rodgers off that or both because neither have come on board yet. Its a shocking set of options.
Where exactly quoted to the point i said its not enough.
So Salah, Ekitike, Isak, Gakpo, Wirtz, Ngumoah, and Chiesa would represent āa shocking set of optionsā?
Name me another team in the league with better.
Am i the only one who feel that clubs want us to get Isak/Guehi as late as possible because it would take more time for both of them to get upto scratch with the new team etc etc ?
Newcastle have 2 clean sheets from 3 games. We put 3 past them. Bournmouth also have 2 clean sheets from 3 games and we scored 4 against them. Thatās 7 goals against 2 seemingly strong defenses and from 6 different players.
We want more!
In Newcastleās case, absolutely. They didnāt want to sell, and so make us wait. For Guehi I think itās more a case of Crystal Palace wanting to make sure they got the most of him at the start of the season (European group stage qualifying) and getting replacement in themselves.
