It’s a bit weird, as PSG is probably the worst club for us to be obsessed with:
- making dodgy deals with dodgy sheiks
- bottomless amounts of cash, and no pressing need to sell players
- seeing us as rivals on the European scene, so, willingness to fuck us over if the chance arises
- players already on mind-numbingly high wages, who will want still more £ from us in order to come here.
I’d swerve that club completely if I was fsg.

Not sure any of the ones mentioned there will service Isak. I see them all as strikers that would compete for goals rather than provide for Isak. We’ll have a bunch of attackers but will they be able to play together is the concern and of course the midfield and defence behind them…

What is he talking about? Wingers nowadays are more like wide forwards who focus more on scoring goals and only set up others as a secondary option. Barcola, Rio, Mbaye are scorers first creators second. Don’t know enough about Munoz

Emm, I wonder if our recruitment team have woken up. Considering a younger player because Iraola might actually give then some playing time?
That is always possible, of course, but we are certainly paying more than the interested Bundesliga clubs.
Maybe it’s simply one of those opportunistic chances people keep talking about—I mean, the kid can’t help who his parents are. And we’ve gained a bit of experience in that regard.

18 is so young still.
Barcola at 18 for example, nowhere near the level of football maturity he is now.
Mbaye looks talented but surely a long term gamble rather than expected to come in and deliver big right now.
Then again maybe we are seeing so little value in the market that’s the only play we think we can make.
