I remember him being really highly rated about 2/3 years ago. Then he got a couple of injuries and a took a leave of absence to look after his mental health. Apparently hasnt been the same since the injuries/mental health break.
There is a player in there, and a very good one at that, but he will need coaxing out. Hopefully Iraola is the guy to do it.

I like him, but he can be hot-headed and make daft decisions. Like, he can play well for 70 minutes and then boom, put in a wild challenge and get sent off.

Other than what I read a few minutes ago, I’ve not heard or read anything about him before but I think he looks a good signing. Ticks a lot of boxes we’ve been discussing.

Yeah he´s mental. Proper warrior though.
