Donāt think Iāve ever been less arsed about an academy kid coming into his prime leaving the club.
Good luck to the lad but Iām really not sure how much we miss him. I really do wonder whether the club were trying to get him to sign a new deal or what it might have taken to get him to do so but Iām pretty sure itād have been too much.
Just glad in a way that we havenāt let another first teamer go for nothing but also have this nagging feeling heāll be back in the Premier League within a couple years.

No I didnāt, he wasnāt signed in the summer window so I didnāt include him in this transfer windows business
But he was signed for this season, therefore a new signing for this season!
Not particularly, probably why the club didnāt offer him an extension on the big bucks 
He can leave with his head held high. Genuinely hope he does really well for himself.

I think heĀ“d be a shrewd buy though. CanĀ“t see many players with that level of talent and could cover striker if needed.

Liverpool have been in contact with Madrid before information about the first bid waa released. Tim Vickery spoke about it on Thursday. He cost Madrid Ā£60m so anyoneās guess what he would cost now.
