Don’t underestimate anything, but I still think RB is the easiest position in football.

He already is statistically hes worse for games missed through injury.
Essentially yes. At least 50% of premier league quality players would be capable of adequately doing the role

On the rumour side, I saw today we were linked with Chema Andres.
If true it would be interesting. From what I have seen he´s a very tidy player who reads the game well but he´s not somebody who cuts the lines well so much with his passing or carrying the ball forward.
I imagine he´d be there to sit and protect the back four and just keep it moving. I´m curious who we´d pair him with. In my view we´d need a better player on the ball to come in - somebody more expansive with their passing.
In my view he´s the guy you put next to somebody like Modric or Vitinha so they have freedom to play.
What’s the situation with Real Madrid and Andres? I thought he was their player? Mind you, they are probably overstocked, and if he’s not going to make it to their team (no disgrace in that) then for everyone’s sake he has to move on in his career.

As you say I dont think he will make it with them. He hasnt got the fancy profile they tend to go for, even though I think he´s a very solid holding player. I reckon he´d be cheap.

Would you say that Right back is more demanding than DM?
I think Trent being a unicorn of a right back and Slot being absolutely fucking obsessed with the position has warped our views. I’d be fine with a Steve Finnan type or a fit Joe Gomez playing there next season. I’m still on the Geertruida train

Good player. Shame we didnt get him under Klopp. I think he had room to go up several more levels.
As it stands he´s 29 at the end of the year but as a player he is good. Passes through the lines well and is combative. I´d consider him an alternative to Wharton in terms of what he´d bring.

Yeah. And not signing Som was one of the best things that ever happened to this club.
We sign Som the. There is no Phil. Without Phil we don’t have the money to sign Virgil and Ali. Without the two we likely don’t win the CL and league under Jurgen
