to be honest, i think alot of the meritted criticism just get the āscapegoatā treatment.
on here at least, i know there was frustration, but never really saw it go into abuse, and the rallying support is louder than the boos TBH.
even in his darkest onfield moments last season ( and they were pretty dark), my coment was that Slot needs to protect him, bench him, then let him resetā¦ instead he just got played over and over and over, its terrible man managementā¦ Houllier did the same to Hesky all those years agoā¦ sometimes players run into some really bad form and they just need a reset

If Mamaās camp is looking for a move away. I can understand why, as he has yet to convince that he should be Alissons replacement next year, if Alisson does move on then. Iām just surprised they left it this late in the window to push for it.

Canāt we just made Iraola incharge of transfers atleast for this summer and Hughes could have just left early? He has literally put us 3 years behind.

Iām guessing it means Liverpool have everything else under control, when they find the time to do this type of deal this late in the window.

I agree some have a tendency to go overboard but some serious questioning is needed given weāve not done what we need to but have found time and money to spend Ā£30m on a kid with four first team appearances.

The Marma situation is an all round poor judgement from Hughes and the data guys and the scouts. How the fuck did the scouts, the data guys fail to see that Marmaās distribution and positioning is poor for sweeper keeper. How the fuck did Hughes sign it all off???

I can see the logic in this.
Mamardashvili was probably sold on the idea heād be taking over from Alisson for this season, but has been really disappointing and hasnāt done anything to claim that shirt.
I can understand his annoyance at another year on the bench, so itās probably best to let him go if he wants to.

I totally agree with that, however I think it wouldnāt hurt some people (not just here, and certainly not you Rab) to remember in the midst of their criticism that this is a harder process than we sometimes acknowledge, they almost certainly donāt have the skills or ability to do it better, and there is absolutely no need to get personal.
