Interesting. Ratiu. Never heard of him. Progressive carries looks very good. Slight concern over the age, at 28, but maybe the calculus is we want a peak performer to come in right now, while the likes of Conor Bradley can take the time they need to come back from injury to challenge.

A €25M release clause, which may be able to be negotiated down a bit, seems like the sort of price point that would interest us, given the business we are doing elsewhere.

If the rumored interest in Dumfries was true, which is a big IF, then we might be willing to go with an older right back for the right price. Still I would like someone like Doué who can play in the center as well to help provide more cover in multiple positions.
