Todd Boehly at it again. The Arse pivots to Barcola now, if their rumored interest is to be believed.
this!!
As a club we canât comment on vastly overpaying as we did this for Wirtz and Izak last year.
The money people are paying for players this summer makes arguments we âoverpaidâ harder to support
You counter that argument by saying the overpaying by us last year is fueling the increase.
Sure but no one would believe it
But we paid high fees for players supposedly at the top of the pile, Rogers, Tonali, Anderson and the guy from West Ham, nowhere near that and all 80m plus
Liverpool are prepared to join Manchester United in the race for Romaâs 25-year-old France midfielder Manu Kone. (Football Insider)
Liverpool want to sign Sweden left-back Daniel Svensson from Borussia Dortmund, but may face competition from Arsenal for the 24-year-oldâs signature. (Caught Offside)
That one would be odd though he can play left wing as well.
For anyone fretting about the apparent lack of signings this summer:

Oh my daysâŠall our âwantedâ names have goneâŠweâve started where we left off last seasonâŠslow on the uptake, dillydallying, blabbing to all n sundryâŠnot much choice left now then âŠis thereâŠhopefully weâll find a new Andy RobboâŠ![]()

All those names on that list bar one havenât gone anywhere.
In fact only Diomande which we were strongly linked with has gone anywhere (and he sort of hasnât).
Except Luca Stephenson.

Youâre mistaken, Matty, it clearly says theyâve all moved to Liverpool.
As it should be. Whole squad needs a chance to show theyâre better than the performances they put in last season. Too many good players underperformed compared to what we know theyâre capable of.
We need some new blood but got to be careful not to throw the baby out with the bath water.
Gomes to Villa I think Iâve read somewhere.. and Barcola is never coming to usâŠ
Thatâs the one I had down, as I said Diomande hasnât actually gone anywhere.
Sounds like a bit of a mess. Its a shame the other winger we want is seemingly tied to this deal as well.
