Quick feet and from what I have seen his passing is really top level. Better than Wirtz in that regard. The way he manipulates the ball and his ability to play through passes. Just a very good footballing player.
But yeah doesnĀ“t really provide that pace and directness for the right and the ability to stretch sides and get round the back.
Maybe it will be about having different options for different scenarios, Munoz being the pacy direct guy and Akliouche being more of a tucked-in creator type when thatās required.

Maybe when the window closes the four wingers will be something like this:
Barcola/Minteh/other with pace
Akliouche
Munoz
Ngumoha
So between the group there is plenty of pace, dribbling, an eye for a pass, etc.
Akliouche is a good footballer and I would definitely be for it, at a sensible price. But Iām drawn to wanting pace on the flanks too, and while he isnāt a slouch, thatās not his forte.

The main thing I want to know about Akliouche is what his pressing stats are like, it feels like thatās a primary requirement for us with any new faces.

He got fired part way through last season, but prior to that the guy who had been managing him at Monaco was a guy from the Red Bull school who took that philosophy with him so you assume Akliouche has some exposure to the sort of off the ball work would be required.

With the amount PSG are asking for Barcola. Would be funny to make the price go up for Akliouche on them. Although if Akliouche likes to drift central and Wirtz likes to drift left, maybe it could work.
I think the focus on raw pace does great disservice to the player that I have watched for a season and a halfā¦
Monaco have used him in a variety of ways, which is what I think will serve him well if he does come here.
Especially on the counter, has great impact. Can cut in centrally, slide besides the central strikerā¦
Its really a function of the tactical detail.
At the Olympics, Henri sometimes used him next to Olise as a dual #10.
Its really his movement and interplay in closed spaces that stand out for meā¦

I agree on his strengths but his strengths are also WirtzĀ“s and as we see from France, pace, trickery and goal threat from wide is devastating.
I think we need to have at least one winger who has that
