The Walking Eagle thread

I’m guessing it will go the other way. Massive skepticism from that side and conspiracies that it was rushed to market to make Trump look bad.

Anybody nickname him Goldfinger? Actually, he’d probably love that

No doubt

But at those distances, at Par 74, he may as well take a Minuteman out of the bag.

Pfizer has made it very clear they were not part of the WH ‘Warp Speed’ program.

This writer is currently calling everyone who disagrees with his article a Corbyn cultist and said the Conservative party did not absorb UKIP.

He appears to be a Conservative supporting Blogger, so that would be understandable.

Not Trump related - but US specific. I was reading an article about Direct Primary Care (DPC) in the US as a way to get round not having to pay the expensive insurance premiums for health care. Instead, you pay a monthly fee to your doctor. Anyone know anything more about this - is this a realistic option for a majority of people?

Is this the same as concierge medicine? I know a Dr who has set up this sort of clinic, but it tends to be more the more affluent who are after regular comprehensive care.

I dont know. It was on the mr money mustache blog. I’m not generally a fan of these sorts of life hack blogs but I’d never heard of this before and was curious as to how practical it was for the wider population.

That’s sadly the problem. You cant talk to some of them.

I thought you were all for planting seeds?

Yep in as fewer words as possible. No point in debating with them, you cant, they wont listen to reasoning or fair points (see Brexiteers).

They have to come to come to understand themselves.

The seed can only grow if it’s fertilized. If they are uneducated that can not arise.

I know a doctor who does this. It is not massively advertised, as the insurance companies want to ‘own’ the doctors, so she is doing it with her partner at their practice, but not making a massive fanfare of it, if that makes sense.

Their focus is on people who are poor and would otherwise be priced out. She is a noble person as if they don’t have the money she finds a way to treat them anyway.

I think this form of care is going to increase.

As far as it being a realistic option, there’s not a lot of choice for people to do this now, as the doctors who do it are so few and far between. In addition to that point, you would also need to carry insurance for a catastrophic/emergency type of situation, as that wouldn’t usually involve a GP/family doctor.

You just give them something to go and look at on Youtube.
