I see he’s picked 4 CB’s + Walker.
Shaw can play LCB in a 3 and James played a little bit at RCB in a 3 also. Of course, James could start at RWB to add more pace down that side. We’ll see. They have options to play with.
Maybe Trippier and Trent will be more viewed as proper RWB’s.

What I love about the whole Trent-England saga was that our #66 just put his head down and proved the doubters wrong. Southgate made himself sound a bit foolish with some of his comments, not the first time mind you, but Trent didn’t engage in any of the gossip or speculation and let his play do the talking. A remarkable young man, and scary for the rest of the Premier League to remember he’s 21!
