Interesting what he had to say when asked about his defensive performances this season.
Truth is, itâs too much an ask to rely on him to defend well for 90+ minsâŚsure theyâll be times when he does defend well but if itâs not part of the game you want to be doingâŚyouâre going to under perform in that area.

CK missed a golden opportunity
Good defensive performance yesterday which was a welcome change.
In general, something that I have observed is he hardly wins any crosses and is either late or unaware of the threat on crosses. The gaps between him and CB was always there I felt and is something our midfield can and used to address, but I donât remember us being this vulnerable in the air on crosses. I remember an instance from yesterdayâs game when Alisson was frustrated in the second half when we allowed another free header that thankfully wasnât on target.
