I’d say he was more guilty of failing to get close to Wilson for the first goal. A lot happened to lead to the 3rd, Tsimikas was most guilty for simply deciding not to challenge for the header against a hobbit.
I was begging for at least one of them to stop their run. That kind of situation always breaks down as everyone waits for everyone else to take control. The three runners have no idea which one of them is getting the pass.
Still should have scored but I think the chance is actually better if Trent is making that run on his own, not as part of a group, as strange as that sounds.
To be honest, this season, there’s not a Liverpool player I would bet on scoring that one. Our defending looked quite shoddy at times but it’s the finishing that’s killing us this season. That said, if I had to pick, I’d rather pick missing hosts of chances than not creating any meaningful ones. It’s a shame that miss will mask an otherwise excellent performance by Trent.
Trent went needlessly too high and perhaps with a bit too much power on it as well. As it was a bouncing ball, it was absolutely correct to go inside of the foot. Wanted to see the chance from a few different angles to see how much of the goal on the side of Raya was on. And yeah, he definitely should’ve burried that.
Agree with this… but there is something demoralising to the opposing team, when their winning lead is overturned by someone, ‘absolutely smashing’ the ball into your net… There would have been no coming back from that for the Arse if Trent had taken the net from the frame…!
Alas, we all know what happened, but we are still very much in the mix at the halfway stage :0)
Billy big bollocks. Thinks he’s made it (I mean look at his stupid hair) so he turns up and doesnt think he even needs to try. He just stands around waiting for the ball so he can whap a hollywood pass somewhere.
