Worrying that Trent wasn’t even on the bench tonight, even with the two weeks rest.

Klopp said it was a smaller injury but still a hamstring injury. I think he had something even in the Bournemouth match, I hope it will be resolved soon.

Klopp said he expects him to be back in training at some point next week.

Trent hasn’t returned to training. It’s been nearly three weeks and I’m getting kind of nervous.

Why? He’s already out running, just not back with the team yet which Klopp said last week he expected him back with the group this week.

Relax Ifti. Cuz every little thing…is gonna be alright!!

Pep Lijnders writing about Trent in his book “Intensity”. - “I’m also blessed to have worked with some of the continent’s top talents, including our very own Trent Alexander- Arnold. He is the epitome of a successful training and coaching process with a young talent, I could not be any prouder of the man and the player he has become - from my captain at Under-16 level to one of the world’s best players, with every possible major club medal won by the age of 23. Even at the age of 15, he was this natural technical talent. He had all the characteristics I loved: a mentality to win, passionate to improve - but his emotions sometimes took control instead of him taking control over the emotions. He trained with so much power and competition. He grew step-by-step into the wonderful guy he is now, surrounded by a lovely family, he created this superb personality. He has this aggression in a positive way. If someone represents this quote of Bill Shankly, its him: “Playing at the highest level isn’t pressure, its a reward”. I still see the same fire in his eyes in each training session, but I don’t see this young guy anymore; I see a leader, I see someone who controls his emotions, a future captain. A leader by example.” YNWA

Pretty sure his agent has a copy of this for the next contract renewal.

Copying moves from Jagger? Nicking riffs from Keef?

Still think we don’t get his full qualities with this inverting role. He’s not the type of player to keep the ball ticking over.

Stones is a CB, maybe better to have a look at Rico Lewis.

He seems to watch a lot of midfielders.

Got to hope he doesn’t have wider feet.

Just glad he never signed with Nike :0)

They’d go well with that bloke (Harry Styles?) in the other thread.
