I think Viva Hate is the hardest as it’s his solo record but Vini Reilly does keep the quality up. After that you can ignore him.
You can forget the solo stuff really, but The Smiths are hard to ignore.
The first six singles were extraordinary, no matter how much of a dick the singer became.
I bet Trent never dreamt his thread would go this way.

I think the word you’re looking for is “depth in the right back spot”
60 games a season for a title-challenging team, that just means he can have some rotation. 300 games at his age is nuts. give him a bit of rest once in a while before he goes Michael Owen.

The interesting thing to me is how well we have maintained the “inverted fb” shape even in Trent’s absence.
I think there is common misperception that the shape is used only to get trent on the ball in the middle, when in reality it was more of a defensive response that added an extra body to the middle of the pitch to make us better able to counter press. So we see games with Bradley getting forward and giving width from wide like a normal RB and think it means we dropped that pesky shape, when in reality it just meant it was Gomez on the other side doing that role. That offers the possibility of playing Gomez, Bradley and Trent all together

Sadly, it seems unlikely that Bradley will be involved tomorrow, so it is going to be Trent starting at RB.
