I’m sorry but we don’t sell to improve a team who could face us off.
Especially when we lie 5pts clear at the summit of the PL going into December.
I think some people are more obsessed with what money we have and what we buy than what we do on the pitch and I am of the type who believe Bradley can step up.
I wouldn’t even sell Endo, the club chose to go after one player who showed something odd in the modern game which was loyalty.
If we want we will buy, we have that money. I’d rather he goes with a PL medal for nothing than get 30m and we fall back under injuries.

Did the club want to sell Endō? I got the impression that he wasn’t really for sale.
Talking on rumours about him, he is probably the most likely to go but I don’t think we will sell without buying and it’s an area you can do it without risking.
Yeah that’s what I mean, I don’t remember there being any rumours which didn’t say that the club wasn’t interested in selling, hence the question.
I get the impression we don’t mind keeping him here, presumably because his wages aren’t that high, and he plays a role in the squad that is more specialised so there isn’t really someone we have who would replace him directly, but since we don’t have the need for such a player regularly we don’t need to bring someone in as well. Perfect squad player, in other words. Arne’s been praising him for that quite often I think.

Pretty sure Endo won’t be here next season. We failed to sign our primary target and then Gravenberch went on to prove himself. Doesn’t mean we will not look to add there (will also depend on other needs, which is also linked to 3 key players who’s contract are expiring). We obviously still needed a body or two in backup, like Endo. Plus, Morton remained with us. Next season, I doubt they’ll be here.

Trent is not going there for football. He’s going for fame and fortune.

I have the feeling that he will be undervalued in the way that Gareth Bale was at RM. Maybe Trent likes golf?

I’d say he’s already pretty famous and rich. He will be more when he’s there, surely. But he might win more trophies than here/more frequently.

Anybody can play right back, the question is would he be any good doing it.
Who could blame him? I don’t think he’s the type for the glitz and the glamour but 99.999% of people will go for a big bag of cash. He’s not exactly short now but quading your salary and living in Madrid? OK.
This guy, whoever he is, is as clueless as everyone else as to what is going on. He knows nothing.

If he bombs at RM, should we resign him or let him go to UTD?
Well we’d have to pay Real a big fee so that’s a no fucking way from me.

RM seem to be assembling a sort of ‘Spice Boys’ contingent.
I have a good feeling about Arne, turning us into a force to be reckoned with… With or without TAA

Yeah, I think he’ll miss us if he leaves and not just for footballing reasons. The culture there is so toxic. I guess if you are used to it, fine. But it’ll be the polar opposite to what he is used to here.

Upto Trent on whether he’d rather be a Owen or a Gerrard.

More like “be another Owen or be Trent”. He can be a special one-club player who’s won it all with Liverpool (hopefully twice), which is an extremely rare occurrence in football. And if he manages to captain Liverpool to some trophies…

I’m just wondering how Trent gets on socially with the other players. He seems very friendly with Robbo but there are quiet a few former teammates that have left, as well as Klopp, who he seemed genuinely upset about leaving.
Seeing Ibo, Grav and Curtis getting on together made me appreciate that having a good support network is important to these guys. I’m wondering whether having a good pal at RM looks appealing to him.

That’s a great question, but given that we’ve only just heard about the friendship that you mentioned, I wouldn’t be too surprised if he too has his friends around the team, just that we may not have heard of it yet.
