Really good news and it is precisely the sort of step that Labour had to take. I’m afraid it is also the step that Corbyn would almost certainly have tried to resist had he remained leader.

Anyway, it’s good to see Labour getting its house in order. The Conservatives should pledge to adopt the same independent standards and scrutiny.

I agree but they wont. Firstly they cant be seen to be following Labour’s lead and secondly they will claim that there isn’t an issue.

I told you I was just catching up with the thread. Frankly I just responded to random posts as I felt fit , I did not realise they were all yours. You claim to only post facts. I would dispute this as I believe often it is only your opinions which as we know, differ from mine. I do not know why the fact that I disagree with you bothers you so much but don“t worry I do not consider your opinion important enough to get stressed about so as a Christmas present to you I will ignore you in future

My apologies. I happen to agree with you on this one.

Shouldn’t the UK government be ashamed that they need the same support as Yemen

It’s always playing leapfrog with the French. We’ll both soon be overtaken by India when we’ll then take it in turns to be 6th/7th.
