Imagine, if it brings us even closer together!

Imagine, if it brings us even closer together!
I suspect it might. Looking forward to Farageās comments on this. The turd that he is.
Without diving into the detail, that kind of deal would indeed be a good one
Too much Talk Radio and YouTube bud.
Seriously though, whatās up with always anouncing press conferences for a set time, just to NEVER make them on time? Blue balls drama queens all of them. Yeah, we get it, you all negotiated really super hard.
Probably best you take a break from them
Actually I think weāre going to be worse off with regard to EU funding of projects. How many High streets, leisure centres and the like have been built with EU funding?
I would honestly be shocked if the government dipped into pot to the same degree.
Liverpool had massive EU funding. Was that the EU being purely kind and altruistic or targeting an area likely to vote against the Conservatives on BREXIT? I have no evidence for this but thereās nothing new in politics.
Are you accusing the EU of doing exactly what the current batch of Toryās did in the Brexit referendum?
Iād also argue that liverpool needs even more. But thatās not possible now.
Starting in the 90s? Talk about planning ahead.
The EU were pouring money into Liverpool (amongst many others) long before Brexit was on the table. The reason is that The EU has aims and objectives on depravation and poverty. Itās not altruism, but itās not some devious anti-Conservative plot either.
Obviously foresaw the trouble Maastricht would lead to
Fucking EU cunts. Funding bits of the U.K. that we canāt be arsed to.
Levelling up is a policy that ought to be universally approved. Iād be surprised if the UK government of whatever persuasion didnāt continue to pursue it. That needs investing in places that, for whatever reason, have been left behind.
Surely with the current crowd that depends if thereās a profit in it?
You really donāt have a clue do you?
EU has poured huge amounts of funding into Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds, Cardiff, London, Dublin as well as plenty of other towns and cities right around Europe since the 90ās so I would be inclined to say that it has nothing to do with Brexit but more to do with regenerating and stimulating areas where the economy had taken a hit and needed a boost
Or. Orrrr⦠It could be EC/EU deliberately creating dependencies like a benevolent drug dealer. You canāt leave our patronage, you depend on us. Now do as youāre told.
I donāt think they will. Not at this late hour. Because it is now 100% clear that it is this or No Deal, no more extensions and gaming. And then I donāt think the usual suspects will dare say no, not in a āPerfect Stormā like the Corona situation is. The economic damage would be too great I think, as it would be difficult to spin a No Deal as a better result right now. And if they say no, they would need to spin it successfully, since they are political animals.
Thatās my read anyway. I think this is very good news for everyone. It is not the best of deals probably (2000 pages of legal text not going to attempt to pretend that I have read it, no one should really, since not even lawmakers will be able to read it thoroughly in 10 days unless you have them on intravenous amphetamine, chained to their seats https://twitter.com/LawDavF/status/1341796402821812225 ), but it is possible you are right, if the wrong people get cold feet:

But I do think this will be ratified by the UK, it will absolutely be ratified by the EU. If the UK does not ratify it, I donāt think the EU will accept any extension yet again. So it is this or No Deal. I think it will be this.
Thanks for links, I really want to share your optimism, but⦠we will see.
