Maybe it just needs a touch of Billy Joel?

It came after, in response to Corbyn doubling down on the whole “nothing to see here” angle of it’s all been blown out of proportion.
Yeah, that would be a complete disaster. Labour really needs unity. I fear for the future, nothing good comes from such implosions and Social Democratic parties are on the wane all over Europe while populist Nationalism is on the rise, with their ultra easy solutions with immigration stop, flag waving and harsher punishments and less rehabilitation for criminals, all the while bleeding those who earns less (creating more crime and greater sociopolitical and socioeconomic differences), logically creating a colder and more brutal society marked by far less kindness and forgiveness; which again leads to more venomous politics.
It scares me.
Won’t stop them though. It’s very similar to watching United slowly blow themselves to pieces. Granted I suspect you’re enjoying this a little less than Ole at the wheel.
It reportedly came after. The official line is that they suspended him ‘after’ he refused to retract/apologise.
perhaps in that scenario the remainder of the party takes the centre and pulls votes from the Tories, including the voters they lost in the red wall. Lib Dems would also be at further risk i imagine?
YouGov @YouGov
Look, I understand that you aren’t uncomfortable with it and I don’t mind that.
Fact is, it sounds eerily similar to a CPC statement urging comrades to be on the lookout for subversive elements conspiring against the great leader.
Moreover, the criteria are very broad and rather vague, leaving room for abuse (just as in authoritarian regimes). Where’s line between anti-semitism and criticizing Israeli solider knee-choking a Palestinian protester? Why can’t you question the ECHR?
Please ask yourself, haven’t you noticed similar practices/tones from authoritarian regimes? I said it disturbed me, because I have heard these all too often.
R2D2 and C3PO are fucking fuming though
Seriously though, might be a dumb question, but what is ABC1 and C2DE?
Socio-economic groupings I believe.
Have you read the report as that will give you a clearer answer than i probably will?
The Labour Party have been found of breaking the law - part of which was the result of its failure to take responsibility for what Labour ‘agents’ said or did on social media, and failure to investigate complaints adequately, particularly those involving social media activity.
There is a legal requirement for the party to ensure it’s ‘agents’ i.e MPs, councillors etc act appropriately and, for example are not harrassing anyone (either by accident or by deliberation).
There is also a presentational issue for the party here and it makes sense that they can identify any issues and resolve them before other agencies highlight them.
The post @dioufgates posted above wasn’t calling for people to snoop on others or deliberately go out of the way to find cases of where it was happening, but simply to notify the office if they saw it happening. That is a very different thing.
If people want to question the accuracy of the ECHR and their report, there is nothing stopping them.
With regards to your question about the line between anti-semitism and an Israeli soldier knee choking someone, the obvious answer lies in the context of the discussion. As the report makes very clear individuals have a right to freedom of expression, which is protected by Article 10 of the ECHR and allows them to make legitimate criticisms of states, including Israel, - however, if someone goes beyond what is deemed legitimate then Article 10 does not protect you.
Dont forget BB8
If you don’t know, you’re definitely a C2DE.
That picture just made me sad today, despite being a Star Wars fan, given that this is the picture they use in the news of the poor church servant in Nice.
If Jar Jar binks turns up, I’m off…
Cue a like for the first person to kill themselves to post the creature.
Soooooo tempting
Don’t tell Lowton_Red, but I also had no idea who the fuck Boudica is until about a week ago…
Sliding scale
A = Richest in society, doctors, directors etc
E = Poorest of society, unemployed etc
C1 and C2 = lower middle class and skilled working class. Junior managers, plumbers, builders etc
