i don’t mind them being guinea pigs.
EDIT: Oh! I’m british so can also be proud of my fellow countrymen are doing this.

I’m not British myself (obviously), but we’ve got family and friends in the UK including one in her mid 80s and a nurse. I don’t want to think of them as guinea pigs and certainly want it to be both safe and effective. It’s just this pathetic flag-waving without even any substance behind it…
Look we don’t want your filthy foreign vaccines coming over here and taking our vaccines jobs.
Hang on…
We actually do
You forgot the fact that our immigrants make better vaccine’s than those that went to Germany.
Hang on a minute
You mean those bloody immigrants are coming over here and curing our viruses
Anyone got Boris’s number I’m not happy about this at all.
One of those two immigrants grew up and studied in Cologne. You can thank me later.
This is all a bit Crick & Watson to me - cant we all just try and get on. Ban all flags.
I’m with you, I was just making a crass stupid statement to reflect the crass stupidness of the UK Governments line. These vaccines will hopefully eventually be successful and cover the globe.
No, they’re busy making and EU based vaccine, that was developed in the EU and contributing to the German Economy. Sadly we’ll struggle to get it into the UK because we’ve “taken back control”
Taken back controller?
My father used to do that with the tv remote when he came home from work.
My little one does that now. That’s why I spend too much time on here.
yes we’ve “regained” control of something we always had control of by all accounts. Big step up. That’s because we’re a better country.
Is that not the Pfizer one?
Yes. I guess Hancocks tears were due to the fact that we’ve started using it?
No he invested in PPE and not the vaccine doh.
I’m loving Matt Hancock’s ‘we can’t blow it now Piers’ line.
As if they haven’t blown it at every opportunity so far.
There, FIFY
I guess so, it’s emotional to see the first vaccinations actually happening and there must be a certain amount of pride that it’s happening in the UK. My point was more that we obviously won’t struggle to get hold of it, it’s already here and being used in the UK before anywhere else.
Not that the government can claim much of a hand in that, other than the orders they placed early on.
So it’s not a foreign vaccine?
These swine have been winding me up.
Anyone know how I can delete a voicemail 8 left for Boris?
It is, it’s the Pfizer vaccine (US/German).
Who cares where it was developed or produced, that’s easy stuff. The regulators, that’s the hard part and requires the better people.
