Did he? I know he hasn’t been financially tie with the vaccine but has an “acquaintance” that somehow managed to get the approvals necessary and jump the queue to provide vials for testing etc.

I don’t know of anything else.

Just heard he already had a share in a PPE supplier before the outbreak; I forgot he’s big on vials as well. Dont let the truth ruin a good story!

There’s 2 vaccines.

The Pfizer one was developed in Germany by the US firm Pfizer by two Turkish immigrants that made their way to Germany. This is the one we’ve started using and is being bigged up as some huge UK triumph. The UK government basically ordered a lot of it before testing confirmed it was ok, so they deserve credit there, but Hancock’s tears are a little too far for my liking. Shame he hasn’t weeped at the 70k that have dies in the UK.

The second is also good news as its a UK produced vaccine and has advantages over the Pfizer one, namely the temperature it can be stored at. This is a UK success story.

Ah got you . Forgot about that one. Good ole Matt.

I suppose he’ll be selling those PPE firm shares soon then? Tears of joy?

There’s four if you also include the Russian one.

The main ones are Pfizer (US/German), Moderna (US) and AstraZeneca (UK).

I thought there were 3?

The more the merrier as long as they work.

Edit
Looks up and sees 4.

Turkish immigrant scientists no less. It is fantastic news I agree. Amazing what you can do when you corroborate with other nations.

Fuck I’ve gone all Patel.

You’re right. The Russian one has started being used before testing has been completed I believe. I really hope that’s a wise decision

One of them was born in Germany, the other one came with his parents when he was 4, both of them are German citizens. Still a delicious immigration success story, particularly in this current political climate.

Couldn’t agree more.

The Chinese have also developed one, right???

Yes, last year.

Well, it would help explain their low infection rate since the virus broke out!
