How to kill an entire discussion thread , stone dead.
Hey man. How are you?
Did you get name checked?
I got name checked, like that scene in The Departed when Costello talks about giving Dignam a sniff of his arse.
Wow I definitely do not understand the political climate in UK as well as you all but it does sound crazy to me that it’s possible that a non citizen can possibly decide things for citizens as far as politics is concerned.
Sounds a lot like colonialism.
I just wish the Great White Replacement would hurry up. All the RW whities on this island are fucking morons.
Rule Britannia.
It’s a hangover from the British Empire, as are many aspects. Isn’t colonialism wonderful?
Great minds, eh??
Any suggestions? I think that’s a worthy discussion.
Woah there sunshine. If you have been paying attention I’ve been critical of this government, and yes they are playing exactly the same game. This isn’t a left Vs right issue. It’s an up Vs down.
I’ll leave the rest of your post as is as you’re clearly not understanding what people are saying.
Check this shit out…
Anyone falling for this RW grift is clearly on the Forrest Gump side of the IQ line.
We get on when we talk about football. Let’s just do that, eh?
The only thing all you lefties know is just how to cancel someone you don’t agree with!
Poor cancelled trolls!!!
I provided a link, with some stats because you failed to do so.
“I provided a link discussing a meaningly different issue making the reported statistics not at all relevant, but I positioned it in the conversation by explicitly saying it provided some disagreement with your argument. When this was pointed out to me I neither acknowledged the lack of relevance nor tried to actually elaborate on what value I thought it brought to the conversation and instead got pissy pants about how people discuss issues with me.”
Now if you stated in your original response to me that you didn’t feel the link was relatable to your discussion I would have said fair enough, held my hands up and apologised
As likely surprises no one, it turns out this isnt true. Instead of doing this it was just a further whine about how no one is open to hearing contrasting opinions
That’s just because you’re a left-wing nutjob who can’t see what’s right before you.
WAKE UP SHEEPLE!
I do.
If you´re actually interested, I think this video has a lot of very good ideas and is very well explained. I don´t necessarily agree with everything but a lot of the ideas he raises are things I´d also do. Appreciate it´s lazy rather than typing out everything i´d do but I think it´s a lot more interesting.
The problem with the cut capital gains and eliminate stamp tax on securities is that it ignores the singularity of the UK economy in the past 45 years. Cutting capital gains might stimulate more investment in machinery in Germany, but in the UK the vast majority of the reductions will land in the financial sector - which has systematically been drawing capital investment out the manufacturing sector for over two generations. The real gains to productivity will be few and far between. It is the flip side of the Labour ‘tax the banks and the rich’ demands, which ignore the mobility of most British capital because it is now overwhelmingly financial.
Ignoring a policy conundrum doesn’t make it go away.
I do.

Is there a summary? I can’t really watch a 90 minute video.
I only managed to see him proposing to slash capital gains tax, which is the last thing we should do.
Also heard him suggesting that this would help the UK be like the US, which doesn’t sound great.
Uff no, sorry. I dont think so but there are sections along the bottom with the topic discussed.
I like his pensions idea for example and some of his attempts to curtail the strength of international mega corporations and boost up our own business. You might enjoy his energy section too - interesting ideas
This is brilliant.
PERFECT delivery.
