Trump voters will turn up and vote. Harris voters, even if the polls will (probably) show an even more favorable margin by then, need to go out and vote!
I’m hoping Taylor Swift speaks up to mobilize the younger segment to vote. This is half in jest, but it would be consequential.
Two dangers I see for the Dems:
- Thinking it is won, and not enough voting
- Trump stealing it (he tried last time, and now his plan will have more sophistication, backed up by a friendly Supreme Court)

I actually watched some of that speech last night and it was almost painful to watch. He just cannot stay on message , even though it’s apparent that he’s being beseeched to do so by his campaign , and that they are probably foretelling doom and disaster if he doesn’t. But to no avail , he’s so obviously shaken by the ‘unjustness’ of having the rug pulled out from under him as he was seemingly on a glide path to victory , that his only reflex is to lash out , no matter what further damage he does himself. And it’s only going to get worse.
