Generally speaking, we have been in a lengthy political cycle where tax cuts for the rich are met with a shoulder shrug, as the deficit piles on more trillions, while a little help for the poor has tended to be met with overblown scrutiny and outrage.
It needs some course correction, but the Dems should tread carefully as this could be a legitimate ideological thing to give their opponent a foothold. Iām not saying donāt do it, just be careful.
