US Election 2024

That’s a story, but it is actually hard to find evidence of that in Michigan at least. Wayne County has barely reported.

Yeah, still winning in lots of ‘suburban’ places like Bucks (Penn.), Wake (NC) or Washtenaw (MI), but not clearing the 70% banked in 2020. That makes every single swing state close.

Trump leads everywhere. I cannot fathom how Americans can do this, it’s still so hard to understand, far less respect.

I guess Ivanka will be the first female president then

I do think Arizona , Michigan will go to Harris.

The other battleground states , not confident at all.

Perspective - mark Robinson in the NC governor race got 40%. That reflects that absolute floor given how appallingly universally offensive a candidate he was…and he got 40% anyway.

Trump’s lead in Georgia is now smaller than in PA.

I see Jill Stein potentially being a party pooper in Arizona.

Trump looks set to win the popular vote. My God, what an indictment of the US electorate that is. That would give Trump a legitimacy he has never before had. This is scary and fucking insane.

I wonder what the data source for that is? I don’t see where precinct level data is available on line.

Second to the expected negative impact in support for Ukraine in the war against Russia. Getting re-elected will in his and his supporters eyes, justify their argument that they are victims.

If this is goes where it looks like going, this is not on Harris. She took over a campaign from one being run by an administration that refused to even try to counter negative narratives about them for 3 years, seemingly thinking people would just eventually come around by themselves once they realized the economy was actually good.

Narratives are tough to turn around once they set in and the Biden admin was just absent in the fight to define the narrative about them leaving his campaign in the toilet and an enormous hill,to climb for anyone who would replace him

Haha. Harris 2028. Save democracy.

Selzer was way off in the end wasn’t she? Biggest miss of her career so far.

I mean the good thing is we are only a day away from living in the best economy in the world.

Well, voters are to blame, not polsters. But yes, she missed sadly :frowning:
