I am not either, as I wrote above. The situation sounds strange for obvious reasons which you know well.
But for others: warhead, while smaller than on the Russian Geran, is still 50kg. And the helicopter did not go crashing down, pilots just injured. Credible scenario is that pilots tried to shoot it down enroute to the Emiratis or Kuwait, but were too close and underestimated the blast.
Yeah, they read Twitter too and react to US movements and statements.
Lots of oil getting out…right… physical inventories are at lows not seen in generations, which considering how much more capacity there is than in the 60s is madness. US stocks have not been this low since 2004, and the US produces far more oil now than it did then. The global market has been running about 4 million barrels a day short through March and April, and that appears to have spiked to 5 million last month.
I really, really regret not buying an electric car last summer. Credible models are suggesting a July-October price of about $150 per barrel.
But you know, even though he writes crazy shit, when it’s about foreign policy and war, and the US is technically in one; the enemy reacts to his ramblings because they cannot afford to not take him seriously. It’s funny and incredbly comical, but “everyone” is taking what he says very seriously despite the level of crazy.
There doesn’t seem to be any sort of significant launches from Iran now and not from the US either. My stream is just significant events from Ukraine where a lot happens today, nothing about launches from Iran or US bombing, even when I target information from the conflict. I am confident there is nothing major going on yet and that neither side has done anything much since I last posted about it above (around 11 hours ago).
Sounds like an FPV drone if it came into the chopper burning (I thought it was a massive Shahed, since US said so, which made no sense). If true, it must have been quite the event for the poor pilots. I hope they get psychiatric care…
And of course this is not going to work. It will cost Iran more but also hurt the world economy more, but not change the fundamentals unless there is a Swan Event.
It’s a desperate gambit with unknown consequences.
Yes, exactly, but I am just noting that high intensity means damage to Emirati and Kuwaiti energy production and supply and make what is very bad already worse.
And to do this now so late, ugh. Seems counter productive. I wonder what kind of shit advice they are taking.
