Oh damn
Klopp to next targets.
My favourite tango music and boy does it make me mad when they insist on dancing the tango with a rock number on strictly
I think with Strictly they tend to do Ballroom Tango, hence slotting in the rock ballads to appease a wider audience etc
With Argentine Tango being a completely different dance family, it is not so easy to change the traditional sounding music, without changing the mood or purpose of the dance itself… although there are exceptions…
That’s even better!
Jack Vettriano - Tango Dancers
Trivia: A lot of paintings Jack Vettriano completed were images from lines/words taken from within many Leonard Cohen songs - The titles of some of his paintings are actually Leonard Cohen song titles.!
JV said when he is looking for inspiration… Leonard Cohen albums are what he listens to… who would have thought that eh :0)
Here’s a nice article with Carlos from around the World Cup;
The Mac Allister family: friends with Maradona to a World Cup with Messi | Argentina | The Guardian
Fantastic article. South Americans sometimes just have that unique take on life that is a mixture of grounded and soulful that makes them great to listen to. Never knew him as a footballer, but his dad seems to be a top guy.
Wow you’re punching there Alexis!
