He’d be 82 in September. He’s had an OK innings but the suddenness of it is really disorientating.

My dad went in to hospital 30th March two weeks to the day we lost him.
We expected him back home.

@Kopstar Sorry to hear that mate. Spend as much time as possible with him, and as hard as it can be, try to make as much of the time as fun and enjoyable as possible, and try not to think about what is to come, I am sure he will appreciate the time more.

my wifes mother was in palliative care earlier this year.
it was a very hard time but my wife spent every moment she could with her, as a celebration.
wasnt easy…but she did a lot of grieving WITH her mother which was quite magical on one level.

Mrs and jnr in London this week, jnr at a summer dance school. I’m left at home for some work and to feed the rabbits. Currently 28degrees and nothing on tonight. Cold beer, garden and a good book. Phone going inside on charge. Bliss.
