Cheers, mate. Iâve got my coping strategies. Actually this forum is one of them, whether itâs to keep my mind of off stuff, crack stupid jokes or venting. Really useful for the various waiting situations as well. So in a way youâre all helping, I mean that sincerely.
I just hope the Mrs doesnât lose her spirit.

Thank you all. The impact in Dhaka is negligible. The extent of destruction in the coastal region will be known in a couple of days. However, considering it was a mild one the damages would be tolerable.

I agree with @anon27364116, this place and the previous TIA kept me sane during the most depressing moments in my life. I couldnât even talk to family at times and this place was my sanctuary.
I swear on my mum and dadâs grave, I donât know what i would have done if TAN didnât exist.

Was rushing at work earlier, had a bit of a tumble lifting a table out of a store. The fall was fine but my right hand ring finger being bent at 90 degrees wasnât pleasant. Snapped it straight and carried on. Now snorting pain killers and drinking like a fish. OuchâŚâŚ

Wow, you need to get to the A&E and get it sorted mate. You don 't want it healing in a way thatnit shouldnât. 
Ouch! Hope it feels ok today.
My lad did a similar thing to his wrist, playing in goal for his team. He dislocated it and snapped it back into place and finished the game. I was proud of him for doing that. His mother was horrified. Went to the ER the next day and it was broken, and required surgery and pins to fix.
Itâs an ongoing debate between me and Mrs ROTW as to what the correct approach should have been, but me and the lad will not be swayedâŚ

Playing in a charity match at Anfield about 8 years ago, went over on my ankle twice in the first 10 minutes.
Gave it a wiggle and stamped it out a couple of times and carried on.
End of the match I took my shirt to the away dressing room to get Jan Molby to sign it.
He asked me how my ankle was, then turned round to his mate and said told you there was no way this fucker was coming off.

Standing in line to vote in the midterms, here in Indiana. Itâs a red State, pretty much, but I am exercising my civic responsibility, even if I think the options before me are mostly a foregone conclusion.
Still, you gotta be in it to win it I suppose. Thatâs what I said to myself on the way here, when I stopped to buy a Powerball ticket for tomorrow.
It said the jackpot was $1.5Billion.
