Kabak was a 1M loan signing with the possible sale for 18M in the summer if we want him? Is that correct?

Really? I didn’t know that. Obviously yesterday wasn’t a great start but he would want to be much better before I would sink 18M into signing him given the state of the game financially.
It is still early days but I thought he looked slow a couple of times.
It’s perfect for us, if he convinces we either take up the option or possibly be really cheeky and try to negotiate something new.
Either way I’d be looking at and finding out what other CBs are out there and what it would take to bring them in.
If we have a better deal on the table for an as good or better CB we don’t need to take the option to sign him.
He’s got the remaining games to make us convinced we have to have him.

Knowing Edwards I reckon no matter how good he does. We will go back into negotiation rather than pay that agreed fee. Get the best possible fee as Schake could be even in a worse predicament in a few months financially than now

If its us that price will be wrong or it will include Origi in a player plus cash deal with Divok “priced” at €30-35m. Hope its us as I think he’s the real deal but probably not.

Car, Bremer, Botman, Konate, Kabak interview ongoing… probably several others too.
Tapsoba, Kounde, Carmo (although he got a nasty injury last week), Konsa. There’s loads out there.
The Botman rumours are apparently bollocks anyway according to his agent. They sold Gabriel for €26m last summer to Arsenal and this is Botmans first season there (after paying €7/8m last summer) I doubt they’d get much more than that even under normal circumstances and they’re facing a financial crisis.
