Because not only has not one been able to make it work, but the clubs that have tried have made it a toxic concept resulting in a requirement to create bigger distinctions between related clubs. It is now very difficult to integrate a new club into your network at a sufficiently high level to serve as this sort of development pipeline role without fucking them over.

Yes, in terms of would they buy someone that Klopp would have almost certainly said ‘no’ to on moral grounds. I wonder if they really wanted the player, would they try to buy him regardless of serious accusations made against the player?

I really hope not. No player is worth that. I fully understand that someone is innocent until proven guilty. But the fact that he put himself in that position displays very poor judgement.
Avoid these at all costs.
What about Morgan Rogers at Villa? I saw he was linked with Arsenal this summer but if they are now after Barcola i assume that isnt happening?
