Well, should be focuses for any top team really.

I think midfield is always more important so I would fix the issue there first and rely on what we have at full back for now. Kerkez isn´t great but he isn´t useless.
Another option is Brighton’s Jack Hinshelwood, who just cooked Villa last Saturday. He is less well-known and hyped than the likes of Anderson but already played over 60 PL games, mostly as CDM.
We can try to snatch him next winter/summer at around 60+m.
Also, if Wirtz flops again this season, I’d like to replace him with Gibbs-White, who already racked up 15+ G/A for three straight PL seasons.
We should not tolerate a player who fails in 2 consecutive seasons.
Signed a new contract earlier this year. Brighton will probably want similar money to Morgan Rogers for him.
Same contract expiration date as Wharton, but a little younger and more importantly less hyped.
Not less hyped by Brighton though, they know he’s good and are under no pressure to sell.
Ethan Nwaneri, not an all-time great in waiting, but we would have been better off with him as a RW option than either Chiesa or Elliott.
