Ever since we had the POTYs in December, we have gotten even more shittier. Coincidence?

I think we could use a player like Tajon Buchanan. Versatile and fast enough to play as a winger or fullback on either side. Works hard enough as well on defense.

Isn’t he used to playing more where Frimpong does?

Watching Brazil play Croatia I would not mind getting the 25 year old Brazilian who plays for Zenith St Petersburg he would be a good replacement for Salah.

Sorry his name was Luis Henrique and is 25 and I don’t know why it would be a problem buying him he is Brazilian not exactly a Russian spy?
Sorry again I didn’t see the above post ignore me.

I was more thinking of the optics of doing business with a Russian team right now wouldn’t be very good.

Interesting take by Chatra here on Chelsea’s finances arguing they are heading for a firesale.

I’d take a good few, also depending on the price of course. And not to mention Chelsea’s willingness to do business with us. But I think it’s not such a taboo thing as in the past, because some clubs realize that the money they might want is exactly in this league.

Yes. I See where you’re coming from it would be awkward since the buggers are threatening us.

Isn’t there sanctions in place to stop deals with Russian companies?

Wouldn’t it be funny if they lost to Port Vale this weekend in the cup

A potential Chelsea fire sale would be of interest to us. Even if the club is in distress and must course correct, the players would still have a lot of power over what happens to them, especially given the lengthy contracts they have handed out.

I expect it to add to their pressure, and increase the possibility of a real bargain or two if they really are in trouble.

And yes, put me down for Caicedo. I’m sick of watching teams walz right through us at will. He’s the obvious one.

Who else? Assuming a fire sale price? Chalobah is a good player. And if we are adding a couple of wingers this summer Neto and Estevao might be of interest.

Again, has to be advantageous to us on the price.
