In all honesty and probably the wrong thread to post this, but I have been impressed with Brighton’s performances from the beginning of last season and likewise Brentford - albeit playing last season in the championship. My only concern with players like Toney, Trossard, Maupay to name a few who stand out for their team and its style of play is how they would adapt to our style - I appreciate this is common with all trams.
For example Andy Carroll and Benteke bullied defences especially ours, yet we never played to their strengths when signed them and will be considered by most as flops.
If i was to sign players almost fantasy football style, then I wouldn’t have signed Robertson, Firmino (admittedly a Rodgers signing) Gini (cue, controversy), Jota, Tsimikas (jury still out), Matip (although a Bosman, so maybe) Henderson (King Kenny) and Salah, Mane really went under my radar. Additionally -although, I have always been a fan - many of our fans - didn’t want and bemoaned the signing of Milner.
When, we won the league I believe we only added Sepp, Elliott and Adrian for a minimal fee Where as our competitors, including the champions spent multi millions and we dominated big time.
My point is that I would prefer to sign Mbappe, Bellingham, Pedri, etc. However, Ultimately I trust in Klopp and in doing so am confident that any player we sign, Bowen included would have been done so for a reason.
However, if I was living in dream world it would be on viewing my top 3 would be, Bellingham, Mbappe and Emile Smith Rowe. However, and admittedly not seeing him play much, i think I would be an absolute moron for not signing Haaland.

You might want to check the settings on that thing. Maybe do a factory reboot.
By all accounts we were 100% in for Vlahović, so it does look like we are after a specific profile.

Bissouma is still the right answer for our midfield. We’ve got enough smaller or technical players, Bissouma would be the ideal player to complement them.
I’d be surprised if he wasn’t our #1 target.

Yes, Fabinho is the only one without any cover at the moment. Henderson can and sometimes does play in that position/role but he isn’t what he is at the RCM. I think Clackson plays in a position similar to that of Fabinho and if he does well during his loan spell he can be considered as an backup.

It also means there’s not much chance to rest either of them, especially when Thiago/Naby etc are injured.
Not great having to play Curtis at DM in the cup.

Not saying we need another wide forward but Zapata from Atalanta looks interesting. Pacy, strong, direct. Looks a good finisher with skill

He can afford to drink Erdinger. At £5.40 a pint, it’s too expensive for me, I nearly choked.
In all fairness he says things like that a lot. It always kicks off shit loads of transfer buzz but rarely actually ends up being someone we buy.
I think I’d probably be tee-total at those prices.
