Women's Football: General Discussions

This is the first game I’ve watched. Now I know why.

Are you not entertained?

Let’s be honest, it’s not very good.

Seriously!!

This is end to end attacking football. Both teams having a crack.

Great stuff.

No pun intended, of course.

I’m saying nothing

I thought England would have been too good for Nigeria but they’ve played much better than they did in their last game

That was dirty by James

She’s got to be sent off for that. Petulant, to say the least.

Seen players sent for stomping

Lauren James what have you done :man_facepalming:t2:

Could be a defining moment if England go out,the headlines will be all about the sending off.

Nah; the media will deflect it onto the disallowed penalty. It’s a fix!!!

Shades of Beckham. Except unfortunately this time the red was fully deserved

Frustration that Red - shes hardly seen the ball. Managers dropped a clanger here by changing a team that scored 6 last time out to accommodate someone who is half fit.
Also - you have a forward who hit 20 last season at full back. Push her up.

In the age of VAR, why would any player even think that they would get away with it?

Just frustration.

FIFY. No matter how frustrated you are, you don’t lash out- especially, as @RedWhippet says- when there’s VAR in play.

Dunno, Nigeria just seems physically stronger. Kiera Walsh has actually held things together in midfield. Also we don’t have anyone better at fullback
