Gambia has only qualified twice in their history and missed the most recent one, from what I can tell. It’s a risk, but not a huge one I would say.

I think Minteh will do well here if we sign him. Fast, can beat players, runs all day, strong and tenacious, Prem proven, good in the press. I think he will set up a lot of chances for Isak and co. As for his own goal scoring exploits, that will improve to the point that it is more respectable, but the goals will come in the aggregate.
It’s all about the balance, and Barcola and Minteh would be great additions if that’s how the wings pan out, with Rio and Munoz too.

I think he is a player a top four side would like to have as a squad option but not necessarily a player I´d buy in our situation.
He´s a bit kick and rush, but he can be a threat and you know what you are getting.
with the current market conditions, who would you buy?

I’m a fan of Minteh. While he’s not a flashy signing, he’s probably the best defensive wide attacker in the league. He presses like a monster, wins a ton of tackles, and does so at a very high success rate. He also creates a lot of chances from open play. Brighton played a very defensive style last year, so his output numbers don’t really jump off the page, but I think he’ll be a really good signing. If we got both him and Barcola, I’d feel pretty good about our attacking options.

That´s the question.
I´d go for Endrick as I think he won´t play at Madrid and he has really top top level ability. Can also cover up top.
Otherwise not many options. Maybe William Gomes at porto. I think I´d probably make do for a year with what we have, spend the money on midfield, and just sign Barcola and see if anyone emerges by January as a big talent.
