That´s fair enough.
If the price is too much we walk away and:
- buy somebody else for his position
- buy somebody else for another position we need strengthening with the money and wait for a winger option to stand out in the next window/s
- buy nobody and wait until the next window/s and better potential options in our view

Even with the market being as silly as it is 80 mil feels excessive. Though I suppose after Spurs paying 85 for Savinho anyone and everyone will be expecting a pay day for a winger.

I have no problem paying 80 million for a winger. Just not for Yankuba Minteh. There is better out there.

I rather we buy Mbaye instead of Minteh. Or make a bid on Rayan.
Rayan has had one good half season, this season will be a defining factor as teams and coaches are more aware of him and what he is good at and not so good at.
So at the price Bournemouth want, atm it is a no from me.

He looks a better, more talented player and more of a Salah replacement but yes he hasn´t really had that much time in the league. I think he´d cost a lot and it´s not like he has had a few seasons of high quality performances, so a bit risky still.
I suppose he is a few years younger and at 20, is he ready for a club like us? We need somebody to be one of the main men. Wouldn´t be disappointed if we signed him, but a few doubts.

So funny you mention that. I was just thinking how funny it would be if we told PSG to fuck off and just dropped a 250M bid for Olise with Bezos’s money. Won’t happen, but the notion did cross my mind.
