Your "second" or favourite non-LFC club

This statement’s not as accurate anymore (from 2020)…still got the mates, but the soft spot…not so much.

Spot gone hard?

Rock hard.

As per @Hope.in.your.heart reversal in June this year. Its the ownership thats fucked it. Still love the city and my mates are (mostly) sound and not become deluded when it comes to footy chat.

made it to New Countess park the day home of Dunbar Utd, around 15 mins before kick off,

my first footie match since i was a daft lad up to no good in the 90’s
(think my last game was Airdrie v Sparta Prague featuring Nedved)

paid my £7 entrance fee and bought my match programme for £2 (all 8 pages of it).

asked for the away end, and was told there is no away end, but i shouldnt worry!

bought a pie and tea, costing £3.50!!! cracking pie by the way…

walked around the ground and couldnt find a single Clach fan, was i the only Clach there?
if i was this could get messy if we win!

the 1st half kicked off, and Dunbar were the better team, but against the run of play the Clach took the lead, scoring after the keeper palmed away a free kick onto a Clach attacker who scored.

a small roar went up, yessss!

i wasnt the only Clach fan there…

Dunbar score 1-1

Clach CB decides to grab a Dunbar player and throw him to the ground, (handbags) yellow card, free kick and Dunbar score from the period of play 2-1 dunbar!

SHITE…

Half time.

Half time entertainmant is provided by a load of kids runnng onto the pitch and playing football,
the highlight been the young lad been wiped out buy a stray dog running onto the pitch and chasing the ball

brilliant stuff

2nd half and i walk round to the back of the Dunbar goal to watch the Clach goals fly in, i hope and i find the few Clach fans

Clach are dominant, its only a matter of time

Boom 2-2!!!

extra time, and the east wind is blowing hard, its bloody cold…

its all Clach, are we going to see a Clach win?
a first win away from home in the Scottish Cup?

No!

a hoofed ball uo the centre of the pitch by the Dunbar CB, the Clach keeper doesnt come for it, then comes for it…

too late, he made a mess of it and Dunbar Score, 3-2…

a couple on mins later the ref blows for end of game!

overall, a poor game the Clach played better footie at times, or at least tried to play footie, but there was far too much hoofing it up the park from both team

highlight of the game apart from the game

the abuse from the crowd…

Ref, you’d give Kevin Bridges a run for his money as your fucking comedy gold…

to the pony tailed player who went down injured…
Physio, Physio… you better check his pony tail is ok…

to the Dunbar player with the receding hairline and large forehead who made comments to the Clach fans…

“away and sort your forehead ya fucking prick”

Love the home fans shouting Gary, Gary, Gary at the Clach CB too, piss taking at its best

always next year…

Bodø/Glimt, because I am proud of them as a Norwegian for their amazing European results and they play good football. They won’t win the Norwegian league this year, but they are punching above their weight in Europe !

The great scottish pie at football matches. I can’t remember a match where I didn’t buy one before the match or at 1/2 time. I haven’t a clue what’s in them, probably some strange poison, but wherever you go thay are absolutely delicious. :yum:

But we have cookies.

There’s a recipe here:

It contains all the main Scottish food groups: Lard, salt, alcohol, nicotine and heroin. As ever with Scottish food the key is the herbs and spices.

When I first took my son to a Scottish football match (Stenhousemuir at home) I asked him what he liked best about it. The answer was the pie at half time. Admittedly, that probably is the best thing about Stenny other than guessing when one of the defenders will administer life changing injuries to an opposition player. The last time I was at a game the match sponsors were The Samaritans.

I am,Burnley is my second club, dates back to down the divisions and friends and relatives came from there, had a bit of fun too, years ago.

I used to think that Pie is a sweet food/dessert. I was wrong.

Not 100%. It can be either sweet or savoury. Sometimes it doesn’t even have pastry.

You’ve never had shepherd’s pie?

Can we stop at Cottage pie?

Only if you’re playing Mornington Crescent.
