Bavuma taking his time really isn’t a big deal at this stage, SA have plenty of big hitters. What they don’t want is to lose a flurry of wickets.
I can clearly see teams making him stick around for some time if only to force others to take unnecessary risks.
He doesn’t belong in an ODI team as a batsman.
