Pakistan - SL looking like a thriller.

They will probably choke, but they are probably everyoneā€™s second favourite.

They strolled it in the end. Some very badly timed extras from SriLanka. And that poor young lad, the sidearm bowler. He needs resting for his own good or his confidence will be permanently damaged

Yes, it was good

Malinga with not even 2% of his control.

Not as pacy either

As peak malinga yes. But heā€™s still pretty rapid.

Malinga spent a lot of time around Bumrah during the IPL during Bumrah and his formative years. Either heā€™s not done so with this lad or the guys probably too thick. I suspect the latter

Itā€™s not just about going for runs as far as LOI cricket is concerned. Bowlers all go for runs but itā€™s one thing going for runs when you are forcing the batsmen to take a risk or if you have a day when the ball isnā€™t releasing as well as youā€™d want( bad day )

But this guy is bowling length and giving width on a flat deck. Without any variations as well.

Afghanistan giving a good account of themselves against India. Letā€™s see if they have the bowling

Why are both the teams wearing the same fecking shades of blue? :india: :afghanistan:

They used to all wear white and nobody got mixed up.
Itā€™s likely that the players who are batting will be carrying bats if thatā€™s any help

272 not enough iā€™m afraid.

Shame. Iā€™ve got a soft spot for Afghanistan after all the trouble that country has been through.

Rohit in full flow is one of the great sights in cricket

Looks like a belter at Delhi and the score by Afghanistan just isnā€™t enough

I do hope there are more of the Chennai type of wickets coming through as the tournament progresses.

This isnā€™t fun.

With my evening thoroughly ruined, Iā€™m now looking forward to Wales vs Gibraltar. What a life.

Take Biscuit out to the park Ifti. You need to stretch your legs :slightly_smiling_face::dog:

Good start by South Africa.

Guess they thought that Bavuma could do the least damage by opening the batting though.

Australian bowling looks a bit one dimensional.

3 very good fast bowlers and then little else. Green is pedestrian in these conditions. Zampa and Maxwell arenā€™t good enough spinners.

Only thing saving them this match is that they are bowling first and not under dew.
