Australians do seem light weight at the moment , atleast for these conditions.
They should have been carrying other batsmen in their squad though.
Australia’s batting needed to last atleast till the dew became a factor.

3rd Umpire’s had a shocker there, there’s a job going for him at the PGMOL.
What exactly happened there lol ?
Hit his glove but the hand was off the bat.
3rd Umpire seemed to think the bottom hand, whilst off the bat, was touching his top hand which was obviously still on the bat, but it looked like there was a clear gap. I think he was looking at the wrong picture to get that impression.
Just saw the replay.
Complicated as fuck rules. Just count the gloves whether they are in contact with the bat or not as part of the bat.
Or make it the bat that needs to have provided the contact and remove the gloves altogether as they aren’t part of the bat?
Either way works but would prefer the one which gives bit more to the bowler.
