Alexander Isak (CF) Newcastle

The big concern here is we end up being Andy Carrolled. The higher the fee they end up having to pay for whomever they bring in, does that get rolled into what they then demand from us. Best case scenario is Newcastle find a gem in France and pay 12 pound fifty for him.

One slight improvement on this is Isak is clearly worth in this market around 120m.

I’m not sure Carroll was ever worth more than 20m at any point in his career. They will also have sell to align with PSR, all these deals will be set up hopeful they can get 110-120m for Isak if not more.

But they will have to sell.

More likely that Newcastle get up Andy Carrolled. They’re probably looking to buy Strand Larsen and Wissa for the price they are going to get Isak for.

That was my thinking. Interesting that they were after both at the start of the window.

I was just about to call him a hypocrite about that you beat me to it just like I was also going to say something about Newcastle accusing Liverpool about turning Izaks head when they have approached Wissa without permission from Brentford.

I like the way they re not playing Eze before his transfer too Arse but they have no qualms about playing Guehi tonight.

Seems he was “ill”, seems it wasn’t Glasner’s call.

Of course he was lol .

Ok, if that is their plan and SL ends up costing them 75m and Wissa 60…

Did he have a hernia lifting the shield?

I would very much doubt they’d treat the players differently under the same circumstances. So that surely indicates either a difference in attitude of the players or in the seriousness of the respective approaches.

To be fair, his opinion now is probably informed of his experience of everyone in the Utd changing rooms thinking he was a cunt once he ended his strike and got his new contract
