Gobshite of the Tyne…
Of course good luck aligning yourself with PSR buying talent over 100m without selling an asset. Thats what happens when you only achieve the bare minimum over several years.

Wissa and Larsen, and we get Isak?
Sold!
Why have they put Luis Figo in a Newcastle shirt on the end?
The subconscious racism is off the charts.
I wasnt going to be the one who raised it…
In the words of David Mitchell…
Right. What’s going on?
Thought that was Marvin Gaye.
its getting really weird now…
we litterally just bid for a player…
out of interest is there any movement of Newcastle fans or media looking internally about how this has been handled?
If this wasn’t Liverpool I do wonder what the reaction will be….
Owners are very keen not to lose face. Fanning the flames of the Isak situation helpfully distracts from the fact they’ve been beaten to half a dozen other CF targets this summer as well as being bent over a barrel by Brentford on Wissa.
Sadly the Geordies are lapping this up and making themselves look like idiots whilst not really asking how they’ve ended up where they are.
They really like them Scandinavian strikers. Højlund also available.
Can you give it a fucking rest. Otherwise you’ll be finding somewhere else to post this relentlessly negative twaddle.
I saw that earlier. My understanding (@Kopstar) is that essentially purposefully damaging Isak’s career by ‘putting him in the reserves to rot’ would mean Isak could justifiably terminate his contract with just cause under article 15 of the FIFA regulations
I don’t think even Newcastle are that mad.
It’s also throwing away 100m+ if they are really upset with our bid I’m surprised they aren’t trying to flog him around Europe.
We know they seem to struggle with PSR on a yearly basis.
Villa, who already have Watkins, potentially beating Newcastle to the signature of Jackson.
Have the Newcastle executive team been on holiday for the past two months? Maybe they’ve all been holed up at the Riyadh Ritz Carlton enjoying some “hospitality”
They’re probably hosting a BBQ for Hughes and Edwards at the Saudi consul general’s home in Istanbul.
Not sure if Newcastle aren’t that mad!Been some pretty bizarre behaviour of late.
