I guess the calculations have been made. Even if he increases our chances of staying deep in all competitions by 10% he will probably be worth the risk. This window basically put us in the conversation for the best squad and team.

The big difference between our pursuit of Isak, and Newcastle’s attempts to sign Wissa, is that we’re not trying to mug them off with a bid about half his value.

I’m assuming that we’re going to work out something for Guehi irrespective of what happens with Isak.

But, for the sake of argument, if you had the choice of Isak for 120M or Rodrygo + Guehi for around the same fee, what would you do?
