Sign me. I am the difference between bad and disastrous

I notice that the thread title says he is LW/RW. So can he play on the right? If he can then why buy a right winger and why sell Gakpo?

Personally, I don’t think we really need wingers on the left and the right. If we line up with LW / CF / RW, I think that would then weaken our midfield. Much as we saw against Newcastle, a midfield of Grav, Flo and Dom doesn’t contain a ball-winner, it doesn’t have anyone who’s good at passing, and it can leave us exposed in the middle when all three midfielders are pushed up.

If we buy Barcola, which seems likely, maybe Dom could play on the right in a 4-2-3-1, with Macca, Grav, Nyoni and maybe Mr. X to fight over the two midfield places. In that set up, Dom can always drop back to support the midfield.

Maybe that’s why we are going for Minteh as he isn’t just a winger.

Sorry for rambling on.

If it’s 110 GBP plus about 10 mil in spurious add-ons, then that should get close to PSG’s 140 million Euros.

Ramble away LA, they’re all asleep anyway

The issue with Psg evaluation of Barcola stems from LFC spending spree last summer. Over paying for Wirtz and Isak.

Every team now is going to play hardball with us because thats what Newcastle did with Isak. And in the end, we broke the British transfer record to get him.

Nearly any other club and i believe Barcola would of been sold already for less.

We did not have a proper transfer strategy. And now we are being held for ransom. By every club.

Not only that, Isak’s move from Newcastle to Liverpool is the 3rd most expensive transfer in history.
