Chiesa would have accepted LFC immediately. Current club wants to get rid. His initial preference Barca are broke. This is his last chance salon of playing for a big club.

So, we now have six top quality players for three positions up front.
Seems a bit like overkill and it’s likely that one or two will be disgruntled by Xmas at the latest. If Slot can keep them all happy it could be fun to watch.
If Gomez goes we’ll be light at CB. In fact, we may already be light there.
First three MF are good, but there’s not much depth there.

Not too enthused about this transfer. But it’s a low fee. He’s not a Salah replacement but he’s someone who can play across the frontline and possibly even as the #10.
If it works out , LFC will end up looking like geniuses. If it doesn’t , not too much harm done.

Isn’t that the same amount we sold Bobby clark for ? that’s a steal at 13 million euros. But, yeah, Chiesa would have eaten alot in wages though.
