Looks like it - there is a list of the transfers of 100m or more as part of the article on the BBC and none of them involve players going to or moving from German clubs

Dembele could be roughly in the same area, probably depends on structure of add ons etc, that one was reported as 135m EUR including add-ons

I suppose this sends out a message to other clubs we might buy from that don’t want to burden the player with a price that sets a British record.

I think it will end up over the record. These these usually get recorded inclusive of add ons, but most of the 16m we’ve agreed will probably be easily achievable.
Anyone remember feeling disgusted when Chris Sutton went for £5m?
