I actually read this as he wouldn’t sign his contract until half past eight!

Premier League champions Liverpool are who Florian Wirtz settled on for his next career move. But in an interview with German publication Kicker, Borussia Dortmund chief executive officer Hans-Joachim Watzke said he would have preferred to see the Germany international remain in the Bundesliga.
“It’s a real shame that a player like Florian Wirtz is leaving the Bundesliga,” Watzke said. “I wouldn’t have had a problem at at all if he had gone to Bayern Munich.

Funny, I didn’t see Dortmund rush to keep players in the Bundesliga. Although I can see why that might have been the preferred option for Borussia Dortmund, as it means less money for Bayer.

The media stuff can be done between the two parts of the medical or while waiting for results coming from the lab.
Adidas shirt on doesn’t seem realistic before August.
I don’t believe we did any media before he arrived.
Watzke is also a big boss in the DFL (German Football League), as well as in the DFB. That dude holds so man titles, I’m not sure he knows who he’s speaking for at any moment. He’s also kind of a twat, but that’s just a personal opinion.
