Joe GOMEZ: 2023/24

Just about to post the same, great interview and some good insights in what he had to put up with during his 2 big injuries

Thought it was the least good so far, nearly fell asleep a few times. Was interesting to hear that he was close to leaving on loan a few times.

I reckon that, before the end of the season, we’re going to be 5-0 up somewhere and be awarded a penalty.

Joe will take it and finally score… with a Panenka.

50p says he ballons it over the bar!

Just heard the Gomez podcast with Molby from the Liverpool official podcast in Spotify.

He’s definitely got a level head on his shoulders. A trait that seems to run across the dressing room.

Gomez nailed on to score the last goal (in the EL final ofc) of Klopp’s reign.

That would be true…if the FA cup final weren’t being played after the EL final!!

Just realized that Gomez is the only player left from the beginning of Klopp’s reign(?).

Trent.

Not if you’re only counting first-team.

Balon d’Or. And as you know, I’m not one to lavish praise without good reason.

No praise for your spelling. It’s ā€œballonā€.

Your annoyance level is ballooning

But I am too scared to tell you that

A Golden Balloon would be a fitting tribute to his attempts on goal.
